Bright Ideas: Appliances And The Energy Factor
This seminar (#107) is specifically designed to show you how to buy new appliances and how to use your current ones in order to save money. With the closing of Shoreham, there is not enough power to go around. It is essential that Long Islanders are educated on ways to conserve energy. Some of the topics covered will be: Refrigerators, Extra Freezers, Old Air Conditioners, Ceiling Fans, Attic Fans, Whole-house Fans, how to use Microwave ovens, Toaster ovens, and Induction Cooktops to lower your electric bills. Time will also be set aside for your specific questions.
