Light Pipe at Smithsonian Over one year since I wrote about a possible new lighting system called the Light Pipe. I have made several calls to all companies involved with bring this product to market and have yet to receive any reply. The product is missing in all markets.

The standard talk or joke about this and all other new inventions, is that the inventor was paid off very well to go live on an island. Meanwhile the technology was put on a shelf or destroyed, so not to damage profits made by current less efficient lights.
