In January at a Zoom conference, I met Amy Wu, who is an award-winning writer and founded of Farms to Incubators for women's Ag and AgTech.
Amy's mission is to give a voice to women in food, farming, and agriculture technology. Prior to her mission she was an investigative reporter for media outlets such as Time magazine and the Wall Street Journal. So with women creating new technologies for better yields and more efficient growing procedures, Amy wrote a book profiling 30 women. Their successes and challenges are presented along with the diversity of perspective that women bring to agriculture.
Feel free to learn more by visiting the website From Farms to Incubators with this Link. Also the website's Home page can be seen below, as well as Amy's book.
When visiting the website spend some time watching the trailer to their award winning documentary From Farms to Incubators: Telling the stories of minority women entrepreneurs in agtech at the Salinas Valley and beyond.
The book is available at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
If anyone is interested in obtaining an autographed copy of Amy's book,
