The Learning Alliance will be holding several education classes and panels starting in April as part of Earth Week. Additional programs will run all summer long until the end of August. Programs are to be held in Tribeca, Upper West Side, Manhattan and Soho.
Topics all summer long range from Environmental And Sustainable Actions to Solid Waste Management; from Media & The Environment to Women And The Earth.
Bill Lauto, a consumer energy specialist with a degree in environmental science will be on a panel of experts speaking at the Learning Alliance seminar in Tribeca, April 16, 1990. The topic title is,
Energy Issues: Meeting Our Future Needs.
Mr. Lauto's extensive background in energy savings and our environment comes from working with North American Philips, LILCO, Hempstead Resource Recovery and Equitable Environmental Health.
Classes are open to the public and no one will be turned away. If you cannot pay Learning Alliance's course fees, arrangements can be made. Anyone interested in registering can call 212-226.7171 for additional information.
The above is a brief article that I wrote for local papers to publish and promote the details of Earth Week events where I was speaking. Please Note the Topics and the Key words, such as Media & the Environment and Sustainability, all used years before being popular today or a new buzz word in the media, that really isn't new.
