Next month, October, has been declared Energy Awareness Month by the U.S. Department of Energy. The parent company BB Ventures, that is operated by Bill Lauto, will be an Event Sponsor along with EPA, Utility companies, New York Public Interest Research Group, the City of New York and higher learning institutions.
Bill Lauto, is an Environmental Scientist and conducted services as the Energy Advisor to NYC Earth Day Committee last year on the twentieth anniversary of Earth Day. The events Mr. Lauto will be speaking at are on Thursdays, October 24, 31 & November 7th from 7:30 to 9:30pm. The events will be held at Suffolk Community College in Selden, 533 College Road. The events being held have been endorsed by Governor Mario Cuomo, Attorney General Robert Abrams, NYC Mayor David Dinkins, Consumer State Energy Office Commissioner William Cotler, and NYC Commissioner of Consumer Affairs Mark Green.
