In January of this year the 1990 Earth Day Committee of New York City, for the twentieth anniversary of Earth Day, approved me to be their Environmental and Energy Advisor. I am honored that they have placed their trust in me.
The process started last October when I contacted the headquarters for Earth Day's twentieth anniversary in California. After speaking briefly with Denis Hayes, who founded the Earth Day Network and expanded it to more than 180 nations, my CV was passed on to the committee in New York. I received the good news three months ago and I am happy to be part of the New York team.
